We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. Our friends, Niru and Prashant came and shared the day with us. Niru came over the day before so she could learn how to bake.
Each kids gets to bake with me too. Lindsey did the apple pie this year. (Next year she wants to do grasshopper pie. She made me write that in here so we would remember whose turn it was for that).
They both did a great job rolling out the crust!
Niru and I stopping for a pose!
Their finished product. (And boy was it GOOD!)
Now Johnny's turn for Pumpkin pie.
He loves to crack eggs. I usually have to have him do it in another bowl so we don't have shells in our pie!
Hailey's turn for Grasshopper pie. She loved beating the oreos!
Bob laying claim to the pie!
This is the reason Hailey wants to help!
Afterwards, it was time to go outside and play.
Then we watched a movie and had homemade pizza! What a great day we had!
Here's the Thanksgiving feast!!!
Johnny and Hailey go the legs this year.
Buzz wants to play soccer.
I think they want dessert.
Time for some more fun outside.
We played basketball and soccer and frisbee.
Buzz loves getting in there and trying to get the ball, especially when we play soccer.
Time to shoot the gun. This was Niru's first time. She did awesome! I think she's hooked now!
Hailey playing with O'Malley!
Who needs clay pigeons when you have old cans of pop. Prashant was throwing them up and Bob was shooting them! Does that make him a redneck?
What a great day with friends! I have so much to be thankful for!

If throwing up cans and shooting them makes one a redneck then I've been a redneck for years :)
