Rain, rain, rain

Well, the hurricane didn't get us, but the affects of it did.  This is a picture of the rain pouring off of our house.  It poured for two days straight.  Our yard was really wet.  It didn't flood but there was standing water.  We never lost power, but they did near us.  The kids didn't have school for the whole week.  They are anxious to get back.  Mommy's a little ready for it too!  It has been beautiful the last couple days and everything is already dried up here.  We're having trouble with the van again.  It doesn't want to start after all that rain.  I've been stuck in the house and definitely ready for it to be fixed!!
