Elephant Appreciation Day

September 22 was Elephant Appreciation Day. Needless to say.....we celebrated!! I had all kinds of fun things planned for the kids. First off we put tube socks on our arms for our "trunks". Then we had to figure out what was in the box without looking and only using our "trunk". Hailey had to wear her elephant hat too!

Johnny's turn
Lindsey's turn
What a cute pacyderm!
Definitely cuter than this one!
Mommy being silly!
The kids danced around the kitchen like elephants and sang songs about elephants.
They had a race with a peanut on their spoons.
They passed the peanut in their "trunks".

They say how many peanuts they could pick up with their "trunk".

Colored pictures of elephants.
And did an elephant craft.
Each of the kids also had an elephant on their shirt. Yes, I know that's a rhinoserus on Johnny's shirt, but there's and elephant on the back!! We really had a good time. It was the best Elephant Appreciation Day we ever celebrated!!

Linda,
You are wonderful with them and are such a great mother! You are doing an awesome job! I enjoy looking at your blog. I have you on my list so I can see when you have updated it. I am trying to do mine more and keep up with it. I have had "bloggers block". :) Take care!
