Christmas 2009 and visit from Grandma and Grandpa Brode

My mom and dad came down for Christmas this year.  They got here the Tuesday before.  Hailey has this thing about Grandpa Brode brushing her hair.  She just loves it.

Christmas morning!

The kids are reading the note that Santa left.  The kids left the newspaper out with their picture from the pageant in it.  Santa told them that he saw them perform and that they did a nice job. He also left dirt all over my floor.  I guess I can forgive him.  

The kids went outside to check if the reindeer ate all their food!

They wanted to start with Aunt Jo's and Uncle John's.  Probably because they've had them for awhile and they weren't aloud to open them until Christmas.

Johnny wanted Shak Ti (Star Wars Character) and a highlighter from Christmas.  That's what Santa got him.  He was pretty happy.

The only thing that Hailey asked for for Christmas was Zambi (the elephant that kisses and makes noises and moved his trunk)  Santa came through and she LOVES it!

We took Grandma and Grandpa to the Beidenharn Museum.  Lindsey and Daddy were hunting so they didn't get to come with us.  This was a cute little train and village that was all coke memorabilia.

What an awesome Christmas and a wonderful visit from my parents.  I'm so glad we got to visit with both sets of parents for Christmas since we couldn't go home this year.  I missed Amanda a lot though!!
