Bob had to leave for a week with his flight team so I decided to have a slumber party...mom included. The Schmidt's came over in the afternoon and the kids hung out while Shelly and I made pizza for pizza and movie night!
They had fun playing board games.
And played Legos
Kristen built this great restaurant.
Johnny and Stephen crashed!!
The next morning we had a religion lesson and learned about the seder meal.
They ate all kinds of different things they had never tried.
About a week later I got to keep the two oldest Schmidt's (Stephen was at his grandparents) for the weekend while Shelly and Doug were on a retreat. We started out Friday night at a birthday party at Skatetown.
Here's Lindsey doing the limbo.

Time for cake. One cake for Laney...
...and one for Ella.
Johnny had his cast on so he couldn't skate, but he got to play on the scooters for a little while.

The next day we went to Home Depot to do their craft.
They made spice racks.
Shelly's birthday was coming up so I bought some frames for the kids to paint for her.
Johnny was having fun playing with Lindsey's i-pod. He has the girls shoes on! They were easy for him to slip on with his cast!
Hailey and Lindsey painted too.
Christopher's finished frame.
Kristen's finished frame.
That night we made homemade pretzels.
Christopher made his in the shape of a pretzel.
Johnny made his initials.
Lindsey made a heart.
Kristen made a K and a heart
Hailey made her whole name, but this is only a few letters.
We had so much fun and I hope we get to do it again sometime soon!!
