What a sad day we had! I went down to the kennel to let the dogs out and Buzz was the only one there. The dogs have been digging a lot lately and Jessie dug her way under the kennel. She usually takes off during the day, but always comes home, especially when I call her. I called for her and she didn't come. I wasn't too worried until it was early afternoon and she still wasn't home. That's not like her. I called Bob at work and he said he would come home early and go look for her. Well, she had got hit by a car. We were all devastated, especially the kids. They really took it hard. Jessie was just the sweetest dog you could ever imagine. She just couldn't love you enough. If she could sit on my lap all day she would.
She was such a pretty dog!
Buzz and her were best buddies!! He is just totally lost without her. He never used to cry, but he is always crying in the morning when I go down to get him out of the kennel. He even "liked" the cats.

Jessie girl...we miss you so much! You were such a good dog and you were loved very much! My heart still hurts every time I think of you!
