We had a pretty weekend. A few mom's from my MOPS group got together at Jungle Gym on Friday. Johnny was so excited. When we got there, not only was it MOPS kids, but Johnny's friend from story time at the library was there. He played with her most of the time. Later that night, Hailey had a birthday party to go to at a place called Bath Junkie. It was cute. The got to make their own lotion and bath gel. They picked out their own sent and even got their names on the bottles. They played lots of games and sang and danced. On Saturday, our neighbor down the road (and by down the road I mean WAY down the road) called me and said that her church was having a "snow" day. They "made" 5 tons of snow, which really sounds like a lot but it wasn't. They put down 3 tarps and had little kids on one, bigger kids on the next and teens on the last one. It was about 50 degrees and the kids had a blast. They did get pretty cold because the snow melts fast and they were pretty wet. Later that night the babysitter came over, which the kids just love, and mommy and daddy got to go out for the night. The next day we had our other neighbors and their five year old son and a guy Bob works with and his son over to watch the Steelers game. I made chili and chicken dip and we had a really good time. The kids really enjoyed playing together.

Now you can't tell me that you miss the snow. They looked like they had to much fun in the snow. I know just come back up north to all the lovely snow we have. We miss you.
The snow looks awesome! I bet your snow savy kids could show a thing or two to their new LA friends!
