Truce?

It looks like the dogs and cat are finally starting to get along.  The cat is actually in charge most of the time.  The only time he's not in charge is if the dogs catch him off guard and he's not expecting them.  He loves to eat their dog food and they just let him.

We used to have a bean bag chair and the dogs used to fight over it.  Whoever lost would end up on one of these green chairs.  After they tore a hole in it they started fighting over the green chairs...including the cat.  I ended up putting three chairs in there so they could each have their own.  The dogs are way too big for the chairs, but they insist on laying in them.  It takes a lot of work for them to get themselves out of the chair.

The dogs have even started licking the cat like they are cleaning him and he just lays there and lets them.  If we leave the cat's food out where the dogs can get it it's gone in a heartbeat.    It's fun to see how they get along now.  I guess the dogs figured out the cat wasn't going anywhere so they might as well get along!
