The cast is off!!

I took Hailey to the doctor on Wednesday to get her cast off.  It was April Fool's Day and she was hoping the doctor wouldn't say "April Fool's"!  (Although we did get a couple people when they asked about her getting her cast off).

Here she is waiting patiently in the waiting room.

The tech showed her how the saw would cut through her cast but not her arm.  He put it right on his finger.  (That is so amazing to me.)

And off it comes!

She was so excited!

She kept saying how weird it felt.  Her elbow and under her armpit are still really bruised.  She is wearing a sling during the day and we take it off when she gets home from school.  We're trying to get her to use it more.  She's still having a hard time with it and it still hurts a little.  Hopefully we'll get it moving and back to normal soon, especially since she starts t-ball on Sunday!!
