Here's Hailey out in the field. Her hat wouldn't stay on for anything. After she batted the hat was off and stuck in her hair before she got to first base. The velcro got caught in her hair. The first base coach tried to help her get it out, but didn't quite get it all the way before she had to run to second. She finally got it out of her hair by second base and then just ran with it in her hands. She was so cute!
Here is her team at opening ceremonies. The whole team didn't make it. There are a few more girls.

Lindsey had a great game!!! Here she is batting.
She begged the coach to let her catch. At first the coach wouldn't let her. She told her the equipment was too big for her. Lindsey, the persistent little thing, wouldn't stop bugging her so she finally said yes.
The coach was VERY glad she gave Lindsey a chance! She is an awesome catcher. She caught 2 foul balls!! (one didn't count as an out, but she still caught it!)
This was their first game of the season that counted. They lost 12-13. They were winning the whole game and the other team came back at the last minute to win it. The girls played awesome! Here's Lindsey's stats: She caught two foul balls (the only fly out of the game!), she had 3 hits, 2 RBI's and scored twice. They got the team together after the game and presented Lindsey with the game ball (the first one of the season!). The whole team signed it and the coach put "best catcher" on the ball. Lindsey was all smiles the rest of the day! Mommy and daddy are SO proud of her!!
