I took Hailey back to the orthopedic surgeon yesterday and they took some more x-rays of her arm. He said it's healing well and looks really good. They plan on having her come back in two weeks, taking the cast off and getting a good look at it to determine whether or not the cast will stay off. He seemed pretty positive that it would. She is so excited, although she would like to have it off RIGHT NOW!!! When we go back it will be April 1. Hopefully the doctor won't tell her she can get it off and then say "April Fool's!"

My aunt broke her leg when she was in her 40's. The cast was on for weeks! When they took it off they found all these things she used to get in there and scratch but got stuck (like pencils, sticks, anything long). The hair on her legs was also very long!! Thankfully Hailey doesn't have to worry about that :)
