Caramel apples time!

We did our second annual making of caramel apples.  Didn't go quite as well as the first time. Here are the kids unwrapping the caramels.

Johnny dipping his apple.  He got just a little on his finger and it burnt a little bit.  Nothing bad.

Now it was Hailey's turn.

I didn't realize as I was taking this picture, hot caramel dropped on her thumb!  It really burned her pretty good.  

She's doing a little better here with her delicious apple.

Lindsey's turn.  She knew to be EXTRA careful!!

Here is poor Hailey's thumb.  It was pretty bad.  She said "Mom, why are you taking a picture of my finger.  Do you really think people are going to want to see it on the blog?"  The picture doesn't really show who bad it was.
