What a week it's been in the Corcoran household. Bob came home last Thursday from work feeling really bad. I asked him if he wanted to go to the doctor and he said no. By the next day he said "please take me to the doctor." By the time he got on tamiflu he was feeling pretty good...except for the cough. By Sunday, Hailey and Johnny had gotten the flu. Bob took them to the clinic (since it was Sunday) and sure enough...two kids on tamiflu. Monday night, Bob went to check on Johnny during the night and didn't like the was he was breathing. We decided that he would take him to the ER. They gave him a breathing treatment and put him on steroids. Bob had to leave that morning to go to Mississippi for a flight competition with his flight team from ULM for the week and he hadn't slept all night. And, Johnny was up from 2:30 a.m. until 7:30 the next night. He had no interest in sleeping. We've had lots of fun with him on the steroids. He has extra energy and is VERY silly. Lindsey had been walking around the house for days with a mask on. She woke up Wednesday with a sore throat and a cough so....of course we went to the doctors and, yep, you guessed it, another child on tamiflu. Everyone is feeling much better, but still have their coughs! Bob gets home tomorrow afternoon. I think I'll need a vacation when he gets here!!
I didn't get a ton of pictures, but I had to get a picture of Johnny with his "Star Wars" mask. It was the mask they used at the hospital for his breathing treatment and he wore it for the next two days. He loved it!
