Since we were in Jackson, MS to take Grandma to the airport, we stopped at the zoo there.  I wasn't sure we were going to make it there.  It rained the whole way to the airport and it was freezing.  I was really thinking about just going home.  We decided to give it a try and it ended up being a beautiful day.
Here's Lindsey with her giraffes.
The orangutan was in the same spot the whole day!

Beautiful tiger.  They are in the process of building a big new tiger house for the tigers.

This poor guy looks bored!  You can hear them roar all through the zoo.

Johnny and his zebras.

Johnny and Lindsey watching the zebra's.  Hailey was over at the elephants...imagine that!!  The nice thing about that zoo is that the zebra and elephants are right across from each other.  Too bad the giraffe's aren't right there too!

Sitting on a giant alligator.

Being silly on the alligator

The kids on the giant alligator eggs.

Johnny had fun playing with the penguins.  They would follow his hand across the glass.  I think they thought he had food.

So cute!

Turtle, turtle

This little baby chimp was eating an orange peel.

Cute little monkey.

Me talking to my Mommy telling her Happy Birthday!

Hailey with one of her best friends.

Hailey being silly!

Hailey being an elephant

Big old ugly pigs!

Hailey brushing the goat.

Johnny brushing the goat.

Lindsey brushing the goat.

This goat absolutely loved having it's head brushed real hard.

Cute little prairie dogs

Even cuter ones

White peacock-it is really pretty.  I think I might like it better than the colorful ones.

Hailey on the elephant slide

There was a big rock on the ground and this giraffe was just having a great time playing with it!
